Petree.pro is committed to preventing financial crime, money laundering, and the financing of illegal activities. This policy outlines our obligations and your responsibilities as a user of our platform.
Introduction
Petree.pro operates a marketplace that facilitates payments between users, payouts to
sellers, and international transactions. As a platform that processes financial operations, we are
subject to anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and are committed to maintaining the highest
standards of financial integrity.
This AML/KYC Policy describes the measures we take to prevent the use of our platform for money
laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or any other illicit financial activity. It applies to all
users, sellers, and service providers on Petree.pro.
ποΈThis policy is governed by the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention and Counteraction to Legalization
(Laundering) of Proceeds from Crime, Financing of Terrorism and Financing of Proliferation of
Weapons of Mass Destruction," as well as applicable EU AML Directives and FATF
Recommendations.

Risk-Based Approach
Petree.pro applies a risk-based approach to customer due diligence. Users and transactions are assigned a
risk level that determines the level of scrutiny applied:
Risk Level
Criteria
Due Diligence
Low
Individual users with verified identity, low transaction volumes, domestic transactions
Standard KYC β ID and address verification
Medium
Sellers with moderate transaction volumes, international payments, new accounts with high
activity
Enhanced KYC β additional documentation and source of funds declaration
Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) β manual review, source of wealth verification, ongoing
monitoring
Risk levels may be updated over time based on changes in user behaviour, transaction patterns, or updates
to international sanctions lists.
Transaction Monitoring
Petree.pro continuously monitors transactions on the platform to detect unusual or suspicious activity.
Our monitoring systems flag transactions that meet certain criteria, including:
Transactions that are unusually large or inconsistent with a user's typical activity pattern
Multiple rapid transactions to or from different users in a short time period
Transactions involving jurisdictions subject to international sanctions or high-risk
classifications
Repeated failed payment attempts followed by successful high-value transactions
Unusual patterns that may indicate structuring (splitting large amounts into smaller transactions to
avoid thresholds)
Transactions where the payer and recipient appear to be the same person using different accounts
πTransactions above UAH 150,000 (or equivalent in foreign currency) are subject to mandatory financial monitoring in accordance with Ukrainian law. Users may be required to provide documentation confirming the source of funds for such transactions.
