Petree.pro is committed to preventing financial crime, money laundering, and the financing of illegal activities. This policy outlines our obligations and your responsibilities as a user of our platform.

Petree.pro operates a marketplace that facilitates payments between users, payouts to sellers, and international transactions. As a platform that processes financial operations, we are subject to anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and are committed to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.

This AML/KYC Policy describes the measures we take to prevent the use of our platform for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or any other illicit financial activity. It applies to all users, sellers, and service providers on Petree.pro.

KYC Verification Process

All users are required to complete identity verification before accessing payment features on Petree.pro. The KYC process consists of the following steps:

Create your Petree.pro account with a valid email address and basic profile information.

Upload a government-issued photo ID (passport, national ID card, or driver's licence). The document must be valid, clearly legible, and show your full name and date of birth.

Submit a recent utility bill, bank statement, or official correspondence dated within the last 3 months that confirms your residential address.

Complete a short selfie or biometric check to confirm that the person submitting the documents matches the identity document provided.

Our compliance team reviews your submission. Standard verification is completed within 1–3 business days. You will be notified by email of the outcome.
Enhanced due diligence (EDD) may be required for high-value transactions, users flagged by risk screening, or accounts operating in higher-risk jurisdictions. In these cases, additional documentation may be requested.

Risk-Based Approach

Petree.pro applies a risk-based approach to customer due diligence. Users and transactions are assigned a risk level that determines the level of scrutiny applied:

Risk levels may be updated over time based on changes in user behaviour, transaction patterns, or updates to international sanctions lists.

Transaction Monitoring

Petree.pro continuously monitors transactions on the platform to detect unusual or suspicious activity. Our monitoring systems flag transactions that meet certain criteria, including:

πŸ” Transactions above UAH 150,000 (or equivalent in foreign currency) are subject to mandatory financial monitoring in accordance with Ukrainian law. Users may be required to provide documentation confirming the source of funds for such transactions.

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited on Petree.pro and will result in immediate account suspension and reporting to relevant authorities:

βš–οΈ Petree.pro is legally obligated to report any suspected money laundering or terrorist financing activity to the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine (SFMS) and other competent authorities. Users engaged in prohibited activities may face criminal prosecution.

Suspicious Activity Reporting

Petree.pro has designated a Compliance Officer responsible for overseeing the implementation of this AML/KYC Policy and managing suspicious activity reports (SARs).

When suspicious activity is detected, our compliance team will:

Data Retention

In accordance with AML regulations, Petree.pro retains KYC and transaction records for the periods specified below:

After the applicable retention period, records are securely and permanently deleted in accordance with our data destruction procedures. Retained data is processed solely for AML compliance purposes and is not used for commercial or marketing activities.

International Transactions

Petree.pro facilitates cross-border payments and international transactions. All international financial operations are subject to additional scrutiny and the following requirements:

Petree.pro screens all users and transactions against international sanctions lists, including OFAC SDN, EU Consolidated List, UN Security Council List, and the Ukrainian national sanctions list, in real time.
